From 1980 through the early 2000’s, Loretta & I would stay up all night on darts tournament nights & put together a newsletter “Darts News” with the previous day’s winners, general event info, and of course Loretta’s gossip column.
Here is the Saturday Winners page from the Sunday morning edition of our Darts News newsletter: 1987 Houston Bluebonnet Classic.
Techies might note that this was typed & formatted on a Mac Classic 512K computer, saved on floppy disk & printed on a dot-matrix Apple Imagewriter. The paper strips were cutout with an Xacto knife & fastened to the layout board using a hot-wax roller. Then off to the copy center at the break of dawn. This is the original layout, showing wax bleeding through the dot-matrix printout.
And yes, I still have that computer. And hot-wax machine.
And no, I never throw anything away.
